G.O. T.I.G.E.R.S. WRITING

Every day in ELA classrooms, teachers have to choose if writing or reading is the focus, especially when working with urban children. However, the key is that teachers have to do both succinctly. This page will be dedicated to a writing mnemonic used in the ELA classrooms at my school. We are currently working to push this mnemonic across the curriculum, but we recognize that this will take time. The strategy that we developed is called G.O. T.I.G.E.R.S. and all of the resources can be purchased at my TPT store.
